Writing Wildly Workbooks
Your life is full of material. Annoyingly, it rarely arrives with an opening paragraph. This guided set of workbooks help you find the stories in what you’ve lived, noticed and come to believe, then work out how to tell them. These are the same workbooks I wrote for my first two Writing Wildly retreats. There’s also a Writing Bank with over 100 prompts for the days you’re convinced nothing interesting has ever happened to you. (We’ll see about that).

38 Days of Sweet Talk
Thirty-eight days of being asked better questions than “what should I post?” Drawn from the infamous Sweet Talk writing challenge, this self-paced daily writing experience gives you prompts, sentence stems and editing frameworks to find out what you actually think and make something of it. You’ll generate material, follow your recurring fascinations and develop your favourite ideas into essays, newsletters or posts. A place to practise having a mind of your own, with some very good tools for dealing with whatever turns up. A new prompt drops daily for 38 days.

Some things take time to get right. This is one of them.
Sales Copy Templates
A little structure for the part where you ask for money.
Writing a sales page involves a surprising amount of staring at a paragraph and wondering whether it belongs somewhere else.
These templates help you understand what each section is there to do, how the argument fits together and what your reader needs before they can make a decision. You’ll have a structure to work with and the reasoning to adapt it to your offer.
Yes, they’re templates. You’ll still need to think. I’ve included help with that part, too.
Inside your Notion dashboard:
Adaptable templates for short and long sales pages, so the page can suit the offer you’re selling.
Structures for services, digital products, free offers and thank-you pages.
An explanation of the thinking behind each section, including how to decide what to keep and what to cut.
An implementation guide to help you turn the structure into a finished page, in your own words.
Make the value clear. Give your reader the information they need. Ask for the sale like you believe the thing is worth buying.

The Smoking Area
BECOME A PAID SUBSCRIBER ON SUBSTACK FOR JUST $9/month.
Because the best conversations always happen outside the party.
I was always the one disappearing at the club. My mates always knew they’d find me in the smoking area, chatting to my new best friend, sharing life stories and dreams and goals and avoiding the chaos inside. And if that’s not a metaphor for how I live and work, now, still to this day, I don’t know what is.
Inside a paid subscription:
what
you'll
find here
The same things you’d find in any good smoking area: conversations that start with commas and end with mortality. Essays on writing, creativity, business and staying a person on the internet. My own two-drinks theory, aired completely sober: that marketing used to be an art, and I’d like it back. And a writing prompt at the end of every essay, because nobody stands out here just listening. I’ll always pass the cig to you.
Weekly writing prompts and provocations to get you past the first obvious answer and into something you actually want to write about.
Storytelling and sales frameworks, with the reasoning left in, so you understand how to use them without borrowing somebody else’s personality.
Practical editing exercises to help you decide what to develop, what to cut and when the clever sentence is getting in the way.
My paid essays on creativity, commerce and keeping a mind of your own, including what it means to build a personal philosophy instead of performing a personal brand.
A limited-time free gift bonus in the welcome email, once you subscribe and upgrade to paid, you’ll get my Writer’s Studio Notion dashboard as a free gift - limited time bonus.
